The fruits of yesterday’s Coffeeneuring ride to buy yeast: Liege Waffles.
I love these things. They have more sugar than a traditional waffle and can be stowed in a jersey pocket while riding. They are made from a dough rather than a batter; therefore, there’s a little more prep required than using Bisquik. I got the recipe out of the Feed Zone Portables Cookbook which I’d add is well worth the price of the book since it has lots of delicious, exercise-friendly recipes.
Freeze the dough and keep it handy for when you want it.
